Admissions to Loxwood School
The pupil admission number for Loxwood School is 25 per year group. If your application would take the class size over 25, then we consider each application together with the Admissions Department at the Local Authority. Ideally, the school governors and Headteacher would like local children and siblings to be able to attend Loxwood School as we are a village school with a strong family ethos and we are very proud of this.
If Loxwood School is over subscribed, the Local Authority will hold a waiting list and offer places when they become available. If your application is declined due to the class being over subscribed, you are entitled to appeal against the decision. The Local Authority will supply you details of the process within your application letter.
During October and November we hold 'New Parent' sessions. They are for parents of children who will be joining the Reception Class in the next academic year. The meetings will be with the headteacher and will include a tour of the school. Please do try to join us for one of these important sessions as you area able to see the school in action, speak to the Headteacher, meet other parents and find about life at Loxwood School.
If you would like to arrange an appointment, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make a note of your details and contact you with the various dates. If you would like to apply for a reception class place at Loxwood School, please use the following link to access the Admissions website www.westsussex.gov.uk/admissions.
If your child is already attending another school and you wish to transfer to Loxwood School, you can download and complete the application form and email it to Mrs Hannington at email@example.com who will then begin to process the application for you.
We look forward to hearing from you.
