Pupil Premium...Is Your Child Entitled and How Funding is Spent

Pupil Premium at Loxwood School

As a school we have a duty to ensure all children make good or better progress from their starting points and that they reach their full potential. The DfE (Department for Education) provides additional funding for certain specific groups including pupils in receipt of Free School Meals or those that have been in reciept of Free School Meals in the last 6 years (Pupil Premium).

These pupils have been identified as being disadvantaged economically and may not make the same progress and attainment as their peers.

School are free to decide how this funding is spent, since the school is best placed to understand the individual needs of their pupils.

We currently have a number of pupils within this catagory but this can be very changeable from year to year. We assess the pupils individual needs and draw on a range of resources to support them within our setting.

To see the range of support and provision please use the link below. You will find out about how and why have allocated the additional funding.
