Anti-Bullying Resources

Here at Loxwood, we take any allegations of bullying very seriously.  We teach our children about bullying through our Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Emotional (PSHCE) Curriulum, our Relationships and Health Education (RHE) Curriculum and assemblies.

Definition of Bullying:
Bullying is the repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. It can happen face to face or online.

We took part in Anti-Bullying week which kicked off with our Odd Socks day on Monday 14th November.  During this week, we worked with all children to help them understand what bullying is, what they can do if they or someone they know is being bullied and helping our school to write our revised Anti-Bullying policy.

Below are some resources for parents and carers that help with understanding what bullying is and what you can do to support your child at home.

If you have any concerns that your child or a child you know is being bullied, please come and speak to the school straight away.
