Our four school houses – Malham, Drungewick, Southlands and Brewhurst – celebrate the history and special links we have with our local village. Throughout the year, children can earn house points by demonstrating our school values and by showing that they are Ready, Respectful and Safe. Children can also earn house points for reading regularly at home, helping us to celebrate the importance of reading for pleasure. Each house is led by our Year 6 House Captains, who help to promote their house, support their teams during events such as Sports Day and act as positive role models for our younger children. Our house system encourages teamwork, responsibility, kindness and a strong sense of belonging, while giving every child the opportunity to contribute to their house community.
